Arlo is a gorgeous adult American eskimo dog who is a little timid right now. He is slowly adjusting to be a house dog, and his true character comes to life when he can run around outside with the other foster dog. He prefers to watch things and proceed cautiously, he requires a little encouragement and a push in the right direction sometimes. Every day he moves forward a little more and his starting to explore the indoors on his own. He is learning to trust people but still remains timid, he takes food from my hand and doesn't run away when approached. He doesn't make a fuss when brushed, bathed or has his nails trimmed. He tends to want to be the boss and is working on getting along with other dogs, Arlo doesn't seem to mind cats. He appears to understand he has to do his business outside as he hasn't had an accident inside. He is kenneled with another dog at night and during the day when it is too cold for him to be outside in a dog run. Once Arlo opens up more, has some more training and learns to trust people he will make a wonderful addition to a family.
